The mission of the PSO is to provide extraordinary musical experiences and to do so as an integral part of the greater Princeton community. To accomplish its mission, the PSO will:
-Attract and support outstanding musical talent;
-Present artistically excellent performances of traditional and new classical music, bringing musicians and audiences together in an atmosphere of exploration and intimacy;
-Provide children and adults with educational opportunities that build understanding and appreciation of classical music, musicians, and music making;
-Connect concerts with innovative programs and events in partnerships with local organizations, attracting a diverse audience and enriching the cultural life of our community.
