Scotland Run Park
Scotland Run Park, is the largest of the county parks, with over 1000 acres.
Eighty acre Wilson Lake offers passive recreation opportunities including fishing, boating and nature observation. There is also a handicapped accessible fishing pier in the boat launch area. The playground and picnic areas are across the street from the nature center.
The nature center offers a variety of environmental education programs for all ages. Walking trails are located behind the nature center and also on the lake-side of the park. The Nature Network; a quarterly newsletter includes a schedule of events.

This is the best park ever! Its fully fenced in, which is great if you bring kids. The play ground. Has lots of things to play on and few places for the parents to sit. The lake is great for kayaking with a launch in the front of the park and an additional boat ramp in the back. Also, there are two floating docks for fishing and a ton of room on the shore too. This is my four year olds favorite place to go no matter the weather.
On weekends you can rent any size canoe or kayak for 5 dollars. A very fair price. They will also let you launch your personal paddleboards and kayaks off the dock. The lake is gorgeous to explore on a warm day
This is a beautiful Park. When it was Wilson Lake it was really nice we could go swimming there in the summer boating I don't think they allow swimming there anymore. Is my granddaughter Jennifer's favorite Park all the kids liked it like
We use Scotland Run Park every year for our Hurff Family Association Reunion always the weekend (Sunday) after Labor Day. Nice family place with a playground for the kids and a Lake for fishing for the children.
Nice quiet park next to a lake, with access to canoes during the summer along with a great playground for the young ones.
