Only because I think it's not cool yous would have Taco Tuesday & offer no vegetarian option. I had spent $48 for 4 tacos for my boyfriend and 3 tacos for me with one margarita each. my friend only spent $51 for himself & covered the gauc we all shared in the beginning. He had about 10 tacos and 3 margaritas. I felt like an outsider. They wouldn't even find a way to compensate that my boyfriend and I do not eat beef or pork. Seems fun if you love beef from filthy cow booty.
I went this weekend with a party of 6 and it was our first time visiting the area. We had heard wonderful things about the food and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was superb. This was so much more than a dinner out, it was a dining experience!
The key word in the Google review is "hip" - our take was that this is a 4- or 5-star place for the under-30 crowd looking for good margaritas and a social scene. For a married couple in our late-40's looking for a high quality meal on a Saturday night this just wasn't the place. Restaurant was fine, but just need to match up what this place offers with your expectations.
Very dissapointed. Was looking for "authentic" Mexican food. Started with nachos...instead of a "normal " plate of nachos, we were served 4 individual chips with some guac and cheese. We were told by our server that the plates were shareable. I ordered the chicken tacos, 3 of them, but there was 4 of us. We also ordered the short rib, which was 1 cube of meat with some garnish. The tuna plate was 2 mouthfuls. 95% of the menu was basically appetizers. Server misrepresented the menu. The only redeeming part of the dinner was the sangria, although mostly ice. We stopped at Taco Bell on the way home for dinner.
Fast and frendly service. The food is seasonal so it's fresh and delicious to the pallet. For drink starters I would recommend Luchador Sour.
