Went here when they first opened and the food was good, so I figured we had a go-to place. Placed an order tonight and my daughter went to pick it up, they said it would be ready in 30-35 minutes. After waiting over an hour the food still wasn't ready. I told my daughter to just come home and I called to see what the problem was. I waited on hold for 15 minutes, then hung up. I wonder if they ever even started my order. They won't be in business for long. *UPDATE* Finally received a call 2 and half hours later asking if I would be picking up my order. Also received a call minutes later from someone pretending to be the owner. Both calls came from a restricted cell phone, not the Gencarelli's number. (This review was originally posted a year ago, somehow it was deleted.)
Pizza tasted good, however a large pie is the size of dominoes. First time ordering not impressed. I'll have to stick to Frank's and pick it up.
Delicious food top to bottom. We order weekly. Have never been upset with any dish from the appetizers to the entrees. Traditional flavors that remind you of Ma's cooking. Sorrentino dish is outstanding. Go there asap, you won't regret it!
I love this place, usually go once a week. All the staff is very friendly and polite. I never have a problem with any of the food I order, the fried calamari is especially delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant
From perfectly cooked pizza to exquisite, traditional Italian dishes, Gencarelli's goes above and beyond the average pizzeria. Even with so many options to choose from, placing your order here is a no brainer. With so many places claiming to use " fresh" ingredients it's obvious that Gencarelli's is indeed one of them. Making virtually everything in house, these bold, authentic dishes combined with acceptional service and fair prices make Gencarelli's a tasty and memorable experience for the whole family. If you haven't given these guys a shot I strongly suggest you go in, or order delivery and taste the difference!
