I've only ordered food from here twice and on both times I had really bad experiences. The first time, the cashier tried helping the person behind me when I was clearly in line. The person behind me looked more disgusted than I did(at the cashier). I probably looked homeless or something- mainly because I was washing clothes next door. The second time I actually tipped while I was waiting for my food (to-go). Watched the cashier/waiter/whatever drop my sauce container on the ground as she was packing it into the bag. She picked it up, put it back inside and handed it off to me with a smile. When I left, I found out that they even got my order wrong. It took all the decency I had left inside my body to not reach back into that tip jar. This place charges a little over 2 dollars for a single plain slice. Its not worth it.
Went in last night got a few slices and an order of garlic knots with sauce, since they said it was too late to order a pie.... they didn’t close for another 40 min..... regardless... the pizza was dry and tasted old... the garlic knots were okay at the best - and they forgot the sauce, I could tell the man behind the counter wasn’t very attentive so I made sure to check before getting in my car and had to go back in, luckily I checked before getting home.
The food is usually good. Not always consistent though. The last few times I ordered takeout from here my order was incorrect. Not a big deal, people make mistakes. Be sure to check your order before you leave. The food quality was not as good as it has been in the past. Not sure if this is because it was takeout, but the quality of the food should be just as good as if you are eating there. This place is also a bit more expensive than similar places in the area.
I ordered for takeout something on the menu that was about 15+ I didn’t expect to get plain breaded chicken... and what was suppose to be incorporated with the chicken, a completely separate dish of plain romaine lettuce barely three half pieces of onion, three slices of tomato on the side... one small piece of plain mozzarella and three pieces of a potato... I then nicely called and told them I was unhappy with how it was prepared and didn’t understand why they would charge $15 for something of this caliber... the woman on the phone with me (who claimed she was the owner) told me the guests who have had it were ok with it more than once and continued to go on about how I was wrong In saying I was disappointed with a remarkable attitude, instead of treating me with respect. It was very unprofessional in my opinion. Definitely lost respect for this place. You don’t treat people like that at all. That woman.. whoever I talked to... is going to be the reason this place doesn’t make it.
The ambiance was nice and bright, service was cordial. The food was tasty for my palate. Although this place serves wine, they allows you to bring your own bottle of wine, so take advantage and bring what you like.
