Statue of Liberty 5K

The Statue of Liberty 5K is much more than running around Lady Liberty. It’s about supporting the thousands of athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey.

This is the ONLY official race around the Statue of Liberty. Registration is limited to 500 runners, so people should register quickly.

Not ready for a 5K but still want to enjoy Lady Liberty? Register for the 3K walk!

Runners must raise a minimum of $100 to participate (the $25 registration fee counts towards your $100 minimum.) Want to save yourself some time on the morning of the race? Raise the $100 minimum by 6/12, and we will mail you your race bib and t-shirt before the race.

Schedule:
5:00 a.m. – Check-In Opens at Liberty State Park
6:00 a.m. – Ferry Screening Begins at Liberty State Park ferry terminal
6:45 a.m. – Ferry departs for Liberty Island
7:15 a.m. – 5K Begins
8:15 a.m. – Awards Ceremony on the Plaza
8:40 a.m. – Food Court Opens / 1st public ferry arrives at Liberty Island
9:20 a.m. – 1st ferry departs for Liberty State Park
