The Jolly Holly Christmas Tree Farm sells trees that you choose and cut yourself.
If you are looking for tall trees, we have them. We are the home of full, tall and natural trees grown from seedlings.
We began planting small seedling in 1996. when we moved to Blairstown. Â That year we ambitiously planted 500 tiny trees in our rocky soil, and more than half died from either drought or drowning or less than perfect mowing! The good news is the survivors are now over 15 feet tall.
Since then, we planted an additional 200 Christmas trees each September. Â As we gained experience (and had more rain) more of our trees survived the shock of planting. Â We now have approximately 2,000 trees for you to choose from. They range in height from 4 feet to 18 feet tall and are wide and naturally-shaped. Â We have Norway and Colorado spruce and Douglas fir, Fraser fir and some Concolors. Â If you want tall, full trees, we are the farm for your family to visit.
In the following pages you can see our farm, our trees and our friends (both two and four-legged). Hope you'll visit us personally in December! Â Santa is on hand at our farm, so call us to confirm he'll be here when you visit with the children.
We open the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We are open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 to 4 p.m. Our season ends Sunday, December 19. All trees, regardless of size, are $48.
We supply the bow saw and you choose and cut your own fresh tree. If you want a tall tree, we recommend you come with a pick up or big vehicle. Â Remember, tall trees are also wide trees! You need to figure if you can get it through the door to your home.
