I Shall Tell Only What I Want to Tell examines the symbolic and physical implications of space. Curated by Ysabel Pinyol Blasi, the show inverts the traditional gallery experience—inviting the viewer to meditate on both the presence and absence of material.

In Between The Two, II, artist Melissa McGill has mapped the negative space of Baroque master Gian Lorenzo Bernini’s Apollo and Daphne. Occupying the famous sculpture’s negative space with blown black glass, McGill’s choice of material points to the delicacy of presence, a stark departure from Bernini’s enduring marble. Accompanying the installation are McGill’s plans for the work, presented as a series of eight suites of drawings.

In contrast, Jo Nigoghossian’s works burst with energetic chaos. Composed of steel, ceramic, and paint, the durability and force of the materials allow for no smooth curvature where the viewer can rest their eyes. Nigoghossian describes Day and With Marcel as “about leaving this planet and being able to have a full perspective on how incredible it is.”
